Energietag (Energy Day), the German Member Committee of the World Energy Council’s annual conference, will take place on December 4, 2025, at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Under the motto “Everything in Transition – Where is Global Energy Policy Heading?”, this year’s Energy Day will focus on profound global transformations. Together with representatives from politics, industry and academia, we will discuss the implications of a changing geopolitical order for national and international energy and climate policy. What opportunities and risks do these entail for Germany and Europe? Another focus will be on the potential of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) as well as on current developments in the German and national and global CCS market.
The Energy Day will once again bring together decision-makers from around the world to discuss current energy trends and challenges to bring a global perspective into the national debate.
This year, we will conclude the day with a winter highlight: In the afternoon, together with Dentons Europe, we invite you to an exclusive Christmas market on their rooftop terrace (Markgrafenstraße 33, 10117 Berlin) overlooking the festively decorated Gendarmenmarkt – accompanied by mulled wine and seasonal treats – this is a special opportunity for exchange and networking in a festive atmosphere.
We would like to thank our partners Dentons Europe (Germany) GmbH & Co. KG, Equinor Deutschland GmbH and Everllence SE. We look forward to exciting and insightful discussions with our high-level guests and you!
