* Dr Yishen Wang (王轶申) – PhD, CSEE Senior Member and Professional Engineering Member, IEEE Senior Member, CIGRE Member, UK Chartered Engineer – is currently Expert in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at China Electric Power Research Institute, Beijing, China.
He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA. He was with State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute (Beijing, China), GEIRI North America (San Jose, California, USA), Argonne National Laboratories (Lemont, Illinois, USA), and Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratory (Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA). He was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University (Palo Alto, California, USA).
He is the Vice Chair of CIGRE NGN China and the Member of CIGRE WG D2.52 Artificial Intelligence for Power Industry, the member of a few IEEE PES working groups. He is the Associate Editor for IEEE Systems Journal, IET Renewable Power Generation. He has won multiple best paper awards from journals and IEEE PES conferences. His research interests include AI for power system operation and power system intelligent computing.
