Women Energy Ambassadors Programme (Ambassadrices de l’énergie)
Open and Inclusive Science Hub
The Women Energy Ambassadors (Ambassadrices de l’énergie) programme, launched by the World Energy Council France (Conseil Français de l’Énergie) in January 2024, is an initiative designed to inspire and connect young professionals and students in the energy sector with leading women executives. These informal dialogue sessions, hosted by the Conseil’s Young Energy Professionals group, provide a platform where participants gain insights into the personal journeys, professional expertise, and visions for energy transition shared by senior women leaders. The program highlights the critical role of diverse leadership in shaping a sustainable energy future.
Our Secretary General Marie-Line Vaiani had the pleasure of welcoming and moderating discussions with:
- Karine Revcolevschi | Directrice, Direction Optimisation Amont Aval Trading, EDF
- Laurence Piketty | Administratrice Générale Adjointe, CEA
- Charlotte Roule | Directrice générale, Storengy (ENGIE)
- Nathalie Brunelle | Directrice HSE, TotalEnergies
- Olga Givernet, ancienne ministre de l’Énergie, Députée de l’Ain
- Pascale Jean, Associée, PwC France
- Julia Maris, Vice-Présidente ESG, ENGIE
- Florence Delprat-Jannaud, Directrice scientifique, IFP Energies nouvelles
- Catherine Bauby, Directrice Stratégie Groupe, EDF

In each of them, they shared their personal journeys, their passion for the energy sector, and their vision for the energy transition and how to accelerate it in a balanced way, in line with the World Energy Council’s Energy Trilemma (energy security, energy equity, environmental sustainability).
