Une des forces du World Energy Council est son réseau international couvrant plus de 100 pays et constitué de comités nationaux, dont le Conseil Français de l’Énergie.
Faire vivre cette communauté internationale, c’est aussi créer des espaces de dialogue direct avec des experts issus de régions différentes afin de croiser regards et points de vue sur une même thématique.

Under the theme “AI, Data Centres and the Future of Energy Demand”, this session will explore one of the most rapidly evolving dynamics shaping today’s energy systems.
As artificial intelligence continues to scale, it is driving new and increasingly concentrated patterns of electricity demand through the expansion of data centres and digital infrastructure. This shift is already reshaping how energy systems are planned, operated and financed.
Bringing together global experts, the session will offer practical insights into how AI-driven demand is evolving — from global electricity trends to the realities faced by data centre operators and energy system providers. It will also examine how infrastructure, grids and supply are adapting to this growth, and what challenges are emerging in keeping pace with both the scale and speed of change.
