The current energy crisis has a lock on Europe. In the Swiss context, this worsens the challenges around security of supply – especially in the winter months. Currently, nuclear energy is an important pillar in the Swiss electricity system – although controversially debated.
In this (hybrid) WEC-Apéro we want to learn more about the current developments of nuclear energy technology and its role in the international and national context – and discuss openly.
The following speaker is confirmed :
Prof. em. Dr. Horst-Michael Prasser, Professor for nuclear energy systems at ETH Zurich:
«Nuclear Energy: current developments and future role, both nationally and internationally»
