SUMMARY:Rethinking the future of the world through a secured\, clean and efficient energy
DESCRIPTION:WEC Central and Eastern Europe Regional Energy Forum – FOREN 2024\, organized under the patronage of the World Energy Council (WEC) and the Ministry of Energy of Romania\, is at its 17th edition and it is already considered an event with a solid tradition and an outstanding reputation in the 100-year history of energy. For the energy community in Romania\, the Forum is the most important and representative event in the field\, organized in even years. Also\, FOREN has the status of a WEC regional event for Central and Eastern Europe. \nThe Forum’s programme will include over 20 events with up-to-date issues at national and international level: 4 sessions of technical papers\, 9 main events (Regional Energy Day\, Round Tables at Forum level; workshops at Forum level); Round Tables at corporate level; an international exhibition with more than 20 booths. \nThe main topics within FOREN 2024 are the following: \n\nA just Energy Transition in CEE Countries\nAdapting the energy sectors of countries in the region to the new challenges\nEnergy strategies to decarbonise the energy system\nSpecific issues on the use of fossil fuels and biofuels in the energy transition\nEnergy efficiency\, smart consumption and prosumer integration: innovations for future\nWEC – Centenary Celebration\nHigher education in energy transition\nNew technologies in energy transition\nThe impact of artificial intelligence energy management in the coming decade\nThe role of nuclear energy in the CEE area\n\nThe forum is supported by energy\, oil\, natural gas and coal companies\, suppliers of energy equipment and services\, as well as representative governmental and non-governmental institutions in Romania and abroad. \nAmong the participants of the event\, there are government authorities\, managers and decision-makers of the most important companies and organizations\, well-known and appreciated specialists in the energy field in Romania and abroad.

SUMMARY:Quelles solutions pour la décarbonation de la mobilité terrestre ?
DESCRIPTION:Le secteur des transports routiers représente environ 21 % des émissions de CO2 à l’échelle européenne. Ce secteur doit\, de ce fait\, accélérer sa mutation pour réduire son empreinte carbone\, mais aussi pour satisfaire des normes environnementales de plus en plus sévères.\nL’Union européenne a acté l’objectif de zéro émission de CO2 pour les nouveaux véhicules particuliers et utilitaires légers en 2035. Pour les poids lourds\, elle a proposé une réduction drastique de 90 % des émissions de CO2 à horizon 2040 pour les véhicules neufs. \nDans ce contexte\, les différents pays européens élaborent leur trajectoire vers une mobilité décarbonée.  Pour les véhicules neufs\, l’électrification tend à devenir la solution prépondérante tant pour les véhicules particuliers que pour les poids lourds. Toutefois\, pour décarboner le secteur dès maintenant et compte tenu du rythme de remplacement des parcs existants\, des voies complémentaires (biocarburants avancés\, carburants de synthèse\, hydrogène) sont envisagées. \nLes questions suivantes seront abordées à la table ronde : \n\nMobilités électrique\, hydrogène ou biosourcée : quels usages et temporalité pour leur déploiement ?\nQuels enjeux pour l’électrification du transport routier ?\nQuelle place pour le rétrofit ?\nQuel rôle pour les carburants alternatifs dans les transports routiers et le off-road ?\nQuels impacts de ces nouvelles solutions sur l’industrie ?\n\nAvec la participation de :\nMarc Lejeune\, Directeur Business Intelligence\, Volvo\nGaëtan Monnier\, Directeur du centre de résultats Mobilité\, IFPEN\nAntónio Pires da Cruz\, Responsable de programme\, IFPEN\nPhilippe Schulz\, Directeur des partenariats technologiques amont\, Ampère\nMathieu Soulas\, Directeur Nouvelles Mobilités\, TotalEnergies \nOuverture par Pierre-Franck Chevet\, Président\, IFPEN\nAnimée par Mickaele Le Ravalec\, Directrice Économie et Veille\, IFPEN
