SUMMARY:Journées Nationales de l’Ingénieur (JNI)
DESCRIPTION:Ingénieurs et Scientifiques de France (IESF) lance la 11ème édition des Journées Nationales de l’Ingénieur (JNI)\, qui se déroulera du 2 au 17 mars 2024 dans toute la France sous le haut\npatronage de Monsieur Emmanuel MACRON\, Président de la République.\nDans la continuité de l’édition 2023 qui a réuni plus de 20 000 participants\, les JNI 2024 rassembleront des ingénieurs et chercheurs\, mais aussi des élèves\, étudiants et enseignants\, des acteurs économiques\, des décideurs politiques dans toutes les régions de France et en ligne pour la grande fête des ingénieurs. \nLes JNI sont organisées en lien avec la Journée Mondiale de l’Ingénieur (World Engineering Day – WED)\, sous l’égide de l’UNESCO et organisée par la Fédération Mondiale des Organisations d’Ingénieurs (FMOI). Une occasion unique de rendre visible les ingénieurs français à l’international. \nPourquoi les JNI ?\n• Rassembler les membres d’une communauté aux multiples facettes.\n• Promouvoir et valoriser nos métiers aux yeux du grand public et des décideurs\, pour susciter des vocations et favoriser l’emploi.\n• Renforcer chez les ingénieurs le sentiment d’appartenance à un corps professionnel engagé dans les grandes transformations de notre monde et les faire davantage entendre et écouter sur ces questions.\n• Encourager les ingénieurs à s’engager\, à entreprendre et innover afin d’agir pour un développement durable.

DESCRIPTION:The Order of Engineers of Portugal (OEP) will host at its National Headquarters in Lisbon\, on March 4th\, the celebrations of World Engineering Day 2024\, by organising a Conference with the theme “Energy Transition and Sustainability”\, from 2:30 to 6:00 PM Lisbon Time (GMT) / 3:30 to 7:00 PM Paris Time (GMT+1)\, which will feature a panel of prestigious speakers. \nEnergy production and use are\, more than ever\, at the center of countries’ strategic considerations. The main objective of the event will be to encourage dialogue for the implementation of scientific research and technological development projects in the field of energy systems engineering\, which support industrial transformation\, innovation and the global economic structure. \nIn the context of growing tensions in the relationship between humans and nature\, it is crucial that engineers and policymakers prioritize a balanced approach between economic progress\, social justice and environmental preservation\, which are fundamental to a country’s energy security.
